On the cover of White Chalk, PJ looks like a photo of Emily Dickinson taken later in life (if there had been one). So it's kind of like a ghost image. She is a Dickinson, Austen, Woolf, or Plath, of our time. Beth Gibbons is up there. And Jane Campion in film. Brilliant.

This is just ... Wow. Amazing. PJ is one of the artists (alongside Apocalyptica and Nick Cave) I REALLY want to see live. I would kill for it, or at least sell my soul. :P

Is anyone aware of a song that PJ Harvey did for a movie (don't know the title) that starred Brandon Frasier and Ashley Judd? As the final credits roll PJ Harvey sings and I remember really enjoying the song. I would love to know the name of it and where I can find it if anyone has any knowedge of it. Thanks

Of course! That's what I need. A harp. Then my studio would reach perfection.

How beautiful is she? I just discovered the wonderful music of PJ Harvey and it pierced through my heart right at the first hearing... Definitely something not to experienced very often.
