well, i am a young, motivated, new realtor. I wanted to ask you guys about some good advertising techniques that work. I ordered postcards, business cards, flyers, and all that stuff. What’s the best way to mail them out? cheapest way? cheapest/best advertising methods? internet website? where? when? how? all the good stuff that you dont mind sharing…btw. i live in GA and im 21 years old…so…PLEASE HELP ME! im trying my best to help my parents out to support them a lil bit…any help would be GREAT! thank you in advance

Newspapers, community bulletin boards, and friend and relative businesses are a good place to start. If the realty company you are looking for put out books or news articles I would check with them to be put in. If you put your business cards up at like grocery stores or other board of business it should also help. Sometimes just calling in on a radio station would help. Think up of a good line…..ie. Are you having trouble selling your house?…..Let me help you get through the tough times we are having in the selling market today.

Try to form a mutually beneficial relationships with other professionals. Network with local lawyers, CPAs, stockbrockers, etc. You can refer clients to each other and everyone wins. Just make sure you are working with reputable people.

Unless you do something fast – you will fail miserably like 95% of all agents.
Marketing is the name of the game. You have to market yourself and services constantly.
